14 April - 31 May: This exhibition features 12 suitcases each containing a speaker telling an individual story about the Welsh experience in Liverpool. An illuminating way to explore and undertand more about those close Liverpool/North Wales connections.
2 May - 7 June : A wealth of different cultural events from art exhibitions through to song and dance; many focusing on the special connections between Liverpool and North Wales.
17 - 18 May: ClayArt features an extensive and exciting variety of new work. From functional pots to sculpture, by over 70 of the UK's leading potters and ceramic artists.
Summer 08: This new dynamic centre for the applied arts will open its doors during summer 2008 housing three galleries, six artist studios, retail gallery and education and residency workshops.
3 June - 4 July : This play is a voyage of discovery from Wales through Liverpool and beyond to the New World.
5 - 6 June: A powerful play exploring the theme of evacuation to North Wales from Liverpool upon the outbreak of World War Two.
7 - 8 June: A vast array of local seafood including lobsters, crabs and scallops all fromthe clear waters of the Llŷn Peninsula.
13 - 15 June : Now in its 7th year, expect fabulous performances from all the favourite Abersoch regulars, plus lots of new bands and performances.
21 - 28 June: An eclectic mix of culture ranging from opera and classical music concerts through to plant fairs and public lectures from a number of distinguished speakers.
4 - 6 July: Celebrate the 20th year of the festival in style with Special Consensus from the USA, plus a wealth of other musicians and dance groups.
5 - 13 July: A celebration of music, poetry, dance and theatre all set in an atmospheric seaside setting.
8 - 13 July: The Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod is a world-renowned festival of music, song and dance. Competitors from more than fifty countries come together for one week to stand side by side through music.
17 - 27 July: 'The Edinburgh Fringe of Wales'. This week of events is eclectic, fast paced and fun!
26 July - 28 August : A unique opportunity to view rarely seen Beatles photography courtesy of the NPG at this North Wales stately home.
1 - 3 August: 3 days of cut-throat fun in this normally quiet corner of Anglesey. Expect fireworks, boat burning, live music and parades.
12 - 13 August: The Anglesey Agricultural Show is the main agricultural show in North Wales. As well as all the usual competitions for a wide variety of livestock there is a full programme of other activities and exhibitions.
13 - 17 August: Recognised as the world's most exciting jazz guitar event!
22 - 25 August : 4 nights of world class musical entertainment from opera through to rock. This years confirmed guests so far include: Boyzone, John Barrowman, Daniel Boys and Jodie, the winner of BBC 1's 'I'll Do Anything'.
30 August - 11 September: An exhibition examining the long standing links between North Wales and the city of Liverpool.

10 - 12 October: Broadening the theme this year to encompass not only oysters, but the wide range of other fabulous food on the island.
18 -19 October: A major event in the Welsh food diary held at the Royal International Pavilion.
25 - 26 October: North Wales' largest food festival will once again fill this historic walled town with the best in foodie delights.
8 November: 2008 will see choirs from all over the UK and Ireland taking part in the festival's 21st anniversary.
